Assignment 2 : CHAPTER 2 - RELATION, FUNCTION & RECURRENCE

Reflection

• Throughout this assignment which covered chapter 2 Relation, Function & Recurrence, I was able to improve my understanding about this chapter by using my knowledge I learned in class. For relation part,I managed to determine elements, domains and ranges, as well as to use properties such as symmerty, asymmetry and equivalence. I was also able to draw digraph and construct relation matrics which helped me to see relationships between elements clearly. In the function questions, I could identififying whether functions are one-to-one, onto or bijective and made step by step detail to find inverse and compose functions. For the recurrence relation problems, I managed to write recurrence relations and tracing the steps which helped me to make a systematic solution to any problem. During this assignment, we shared ideas and solutions for every questions, which allowed us to avoid silly mistakes before submitting the assignment. Everyone cooperated very well in completing this assignmnet. I hope we can do our best for the next assignment as well.
